I chose to become almost invisible and retreated to my house and the internet to a large extent. Finally getting a new(er) vehicle so making plans to take the grand kids places for free fun a lot soon.

I have never bothered about age – it being a number which means different things to different people and therefore hardly worth considering. The down side, yes there has to be one, is that however you feel inside your outsides do start to show wear and tear and that is the difficult thing to cope with. The onset of age related illness has caused me to think twice before going out. Am I really an old lady who needs a stick to steady her walking, amid all the other old ladies with sticks? I feel invisibility encroaching. Arrgghhh!
